Blueberry Walnut Salad
Crab cake and halibut. My wife and I had a conversation the day after we ate at your wonderful restaurant and ranked it in our top 10 restaurants ever. this is the first time I've ever given a review to a restaurant and I must tell you the meal was impeccable! After working in several restaurants over the years and having an appreciation for service.. I would like to give you one bit of advice. When the server presents our dish they should know where to set the plate and who ordered that particular dish. My wife and I loved the dress attire of the servers and the pin recognition for hours of sercice!
Lobster Beignet
The lobster beignets were a standout appetizer for our meal at Blue Jay Bistro. The crispy crust filled with a unique sauce and lobster meat was the perfect balance. One of the best apps I've have there. I would get these over, and over, and over again if I could.
Braised Short Rib
The ribs are delicious. Melt in your mouth tender.
Calamari
"The calamari at Blue Jay Bistro in Littleton, NC, is amazing! I spent part of my childhood in Littleton, and seeing a restaurant like this in town is incredible. The calamari is crispy, tender, and perfectly seasoned, with a dipping sauce that brings it all together. The portion is generous and great for sharing. It's so exciting to have a place like Blue Jay Bistro here---it's definitely worth a visit!"
Filet
My husband and I tried for the first time recently. We both got a filet mignon with potato pave and asparagus. It was probably the best steak we've ever had. Service was great and quick! Delicious limoncello and cocktails as well. They even went the extra mile to write my husband a birthday card. We'll be back!
Crab Cake
Besides Crab Cakes, we had Oyster Rockafella and Daily Bread. All outstanding, but the Crab Cakes with blueberry mustard ( would have never thought of that combo) was fantastic!!
Braised Short Rib
One of the best meals I have ever had, the most tender short ribs! Everything about this dish was perfection. Not to mention the appetizer, drinks and dessert! From the food, atmosphere and staff, everything here is top tier!
Shrimp
The shrimp was cooked to perfection. It was served with polenta, the most delicious I have ever eaten. It was also beautifully presented.
Steaks
Steak was very well seasoned and cooked to perfection! The potato pave was one of my favorite pairs to go with the dish! Highly recommended!
NYE Filet
WOW! If you missed the NYE dinner celebration at Blue Jay Bistro in Littleton, NC, you did not do NYE right! The entire meal, from beginning to dessert was phenomenal!! Our table all chose the filet and ever single one was cooked PERFECT! The cocktails - they definitely have this down to a science. No bartender working there...a straight up mixoligist! The individual french press coffee gives you a perfect cup of coffee! The food, atmosphere & service can can not be beat! We LOVE this small town restaurant that has LEGIT big city vibes! An absolute gem for our area. Thanks for a very delicious & memorable NYE!
